Banana-Nut Bread
Prep Time: 15 min. Baking Time:1 hour Servings: One Loaf Oven: 350 F
Ingredients
- 3 ripe Bananas
- 2 Eggs (slightly beaten)
- ½ cup Crisco or ½ cup Melted Butter (unsalted)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Pecans (chopped)
Instructions
- Mash bananas and add slightly beaten eggs
- Add Crisco, Sugar, and Lemon Juice to Banana mixture
- Sift Flour, Soda, Baking Powder, Salt together. Add to banana mixture
- Mix well and add Pecans
- Grease a 9x3 inch loaf pan and pour batter into it
- Bake at 350 degrees F for about one hour
- COOL on rack
