I love anything made with lemon, and this cake delivers. A well-known cook stated that she didn’t know how she lived without this cake, prior to her friend giving her the recipe. I agree. It is so easy, and almost impossible to fail with this recipe.
Lemon Cake
BAKE: 350 F SERVES: 12
Ingredients
CAKE
- 4 Eggs
- ¾ Apricot Nectar
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Extract
- 1 package Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme Cake Mix
- ¾ Cup Wesson Oil
- 3 oz. package Lemon Jell-O
LEMON GLAZE
- 1 Cup Confectioner’s Sugar Powder Sugar
- Juice of 1 Lemon
Instructions
- Beat eggs well
- Add to beaten eggs: Nectar, Lemon Extract, cake mix, oil, and jell-o. Mix well
- Pour in well greased and floured Bundt pan
- Bake at 350 F for one hour
- Mix glaze well
- Remove cake from pan while it is hot and glaze
- Drizzle the Glaze down the sides of the cake
