I love anything made with lemon, and this cake delivers. A well-known cook stated that she didn’t know how she lived without this cake, prior to her friend giving her the recipe. I agree. It is so easy, and almost impossible to fail with this recipe.


Lemon Cake

BAKE: 350 F SERVES: 12



  • 4 Eggs
  • ¾ Apricot Nectar
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Extract
  • 1 package Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme Cake Mix
  • ¾ Cup Wesson Oil
  • 3 oz. package Lemon Jell-O


  • 1 Cup Confectioner’s Sugar Powder Sugar
  • Juice of 1 Lemon


  • Beat eggs well
  • Add to beaten eggs: Nectar, Lemon Extract, cake mix, oil, and jell-o. Mix well
  • Pour in well greased and floured Bundt pan
  • Bake at 350 F for one hour
  • Mix glaze well
  • Remove cake from pan while it is hot and glaze
  • Drizzle the Glaze down the sides of the cake
