My dear friend, Jene, gifted my family with this wonderful cake on many occasions. We loved her timing, as the surprise of her delivery matched events in our lives. The name of the cake said it all. Whether it was an illness, death, or a break-up we knew Jene was thinking of us during each major, or not so major occurrence. The “Sock It To Me’ cake would arrive, warm and ready to eat and Jene would be dressed in her hat and heels, smiling broadly. She brought sunshine and joy with each delivery. The Sock It To Me cake  was my daughter’s favorite so when her babies began to arrive, or on her birthday, Shannon received this cake. Jene’s heart was in every bite.
