Sock it to me Cake

Yield: One Bundt cake = 12-16 slices Oven: 350

Ingredients

  • 1 Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix or Butter Golden Cake Mix
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup Wesson Oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ cup chopped Pecans

Glaze

  • ¼ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon melted Butter

Instructions

  • Blend cake mix, sour cream, sugar and oil in a mixer
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition
  • Mix brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans together
  • Pour ¼ - ½ cake batter in a floured bundt pan
  • Sprinkle the nut mixture over the batter
  • Pour rest of cake batter on top
  • Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes
  • Let cool in pan
  • Punch holes in cake with ice pick or long fork while cake is still in pan then place on a plate

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GLAZE

  • Combine glaze ingredients into a small sauce pan
  • Cook over low heat on stove until smooth and blended
  • Pour over cake
